Car Rental Terms and Conditions
The office employee agrees to hand over the car to the hirer, whose name and signature are mentioned, under the following terms:
- The hirer confirms the good condition of the car before taking possession.
- The hirer agrees to return the car in the same condition, along with its tires, tools, and equipment as provided on the agreement date. If the car is kept for more than 24 hours, the hirer will be charged for a full additional rental day.
- No other person is allowed to use the car except the hirer, who must not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- The hirer agrees to follow the traffic regulations and drive the vehicle only on paved roads. Strictly prohibited is the use of standard vehicles on dirt roads, beaches, or any area where the vehicle may be damaged or such use is prohibited by authorities.

- Any such violation may result in additional charges.
- Pets are allowed inside the vehicle only in a proper pet carrier. If the vehicle is returned with stains requiring special cleaning (e.g., pet fur, sand, sunscreen, or salt stains), the hirer will be charged an amount of €50 + VAT.
- In case of any damage or accident, the hirer agrees to stop the vehicle immediately and notify the owner. If the hirer is at fault, they must cover the full cost of the damage, along with a fee for lost rental days until the vehicle is returned to service.
- The hirer declares unconditionally that they are able to settle any debt to our office.
- Our office reserves the right to reclaim possession and use of the vehicle at any time, without prior notice and without the hirer’s consent, but at the hirer’s expense, if there is deemed to be risk of damage or loss, or if the car is being used in violation of the terms or beyond the agreed rental period.
- It is strictly prohibited to load the car onto a ship or transport it off the island.
- For any ambiguity or disagreement between the owner and the hirer, only Greek courts have jurisdiction.
